About Christine

Christine held a professorial position at Swinburne University of Technology (Melbourne) and she served on the ACSPRI Executive Committee from November 2017 until her passing. Christine made an enormously valuable contribution to ACSPRI and she will be greatly missed by her ACSPRI colleagues. She served as Secretary of the Executive Committee in 2017 and 2018 and then as Treasurer from November 2019. These are voluntary and unpaid roles. The ACSPRI family miss Christine’s experience and knowledge of the social sciences, and remember her warmth and generosity of spirit. Professor Christine Critchley passed away unexpectedly on Thursday 22 October 2020, from undiagnosed heart disease.
