Shift management

queXS allows for shifts to be allocated for projects to restrict interviewers work and appointments, and to allow for performance statistics and reporting to occur on a shift by shift basis.

To make shift allocation simple, default shift times can be specified globally, and then they can be selected and modified on a week by week basis for each project.

You can view and edit the default shift times by browsing to the queXS administrative interface (first link):

Then selecting "Set default shift times" under the "System settings" menu (second link):

 

 

Click on "add row" to add more shift entries, otherwise modify the existing entries and click on "Save changes to shifts" to save the default shift times.

 

 

Now browse to the shift management screen by clicking on the "Shift management (add/remove)" link (second from the bottom in the first menu section.

 

 

Select the questionnaire. Notice that the default shift times will appear, unselected for the current week of the year. These are just a template so can be modified and selected if you wish the shift to apply for this project.

 

Select the relevant shifts by clicking on the checkbox "Use" for each applicable shift. Then click on the "Submit changes" button to save them.
