Winter Program 2012

The 2012 ACSPRI Winter Program will be hosted by University of Technology Sydney (UTS) from 25th June - 6th July, in the leadup to the RC33 Eight International Conference on Social Science Methodology, which will be held at University of Sydney the following week. UTS was previously a venue for the 2011 ACSPRI Spring Program. University of Queensland, which has hosted the past seventeen ACSPRI Winter Programs, will host the Spring Program in 2012.
 
2012/13 prices can now be viewed by scrolling down or clicking on the link to the left. Early Bird enrolment discounts will apply until early 1st May. Bookings are expected to open before the end of February. A list of courses will appear on this page shortly beforehand. Car Parking / Transport: 

UTS is located within 5 mins walk of Central Station, which is connected to trains throughout Sydney. Train is also an option from the airport. Alternatively, a taxi from the airport during peak hour should take approximately 30 mins.

Social Events: 

A cocktail party will be held straight after the first day of the program. This is a great chance to unwind after a hard day and get to know your colleagues as well as instructors and other participants in the ACSPRI Spring Program. Beer, wine, softdrink and finger food will be provided

Venue and Timetable: 

All courses run for the full week, Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm each day (early finish on Fridays). Most courses will be held in buildings 1 and 10. A Program Welcome will be held at 9am on the Monday morning of each week. From there, the course groups will break up and move to their respective teaching areas. Location details for the Program Welcome will be displayed here closer to the program.
 
Morning and afternoon tea breaks will be held each day between 10.30 - 11.00 and 3.00 - 3.30. Refreshments will be provided. There will also be a lunch break between 12.30 and 1.30, however lunch is not included.
