Rep Update and Winter Program Notice for Distribution

Dear ACSPRI Reps,

A belated Happy New Year to all and welcome aboard to the new reps!

Below I have enclosed a bulk email for circulation regarding the upcoming ACSPRI Winter Program at University of Queensland.  If you would be happy to circulate this among staff and HDR students as usual, that would be greatly appreciated.

We have recently initiated a poster mail-out for the upcoming year (to Summer 2015) to all reps and other key contact people at member organisations so you will probably receive this shortly if you have not received it already. If not, please feel free to contact me. This year we have combined all three ACSPRI Programs into one poster, which will remain current until early 2015. We hope that package finds you well and that you are able to find suitable locations for them.

Finally, a quick mention that we are in the process of switching to a new CRM system. You may receive the notice below again in the coming weeks as a result of this. It may also be possible to include a soft copy of the abovementioned poster, which may suit reps at some organisations.

Please feel free to contact me on martin.lynch@acspri.org.au if you would like to discuss any of the above.

All the best and thanks once again for your ongoing support.

Kind regards

Marty

Dear Colleagues

Enrolments for the 2014 ACSPRI Winter Program are now open.

The Australian Consortium for Social and Political Research Inc. (ACSPRI) is a not-for-profit organisation that has offered short courses in research methods, predominantly for staff and HDR students at its member institutions, for nearly three decades. These courses are suitable for researchers across a wide range of fields and cover a range of qualitative and and quantitative research methods and analysis techniques of various levels and also include training in a number of research-related software (different courses focus on SPSS, AMOS, Mplus, Nvivo, STATA and R).

In 2014 the ACSPRI Winter Program will be returning to sunny Brisbane for what is expected to be the largest ever Winter Program. Over twenty five-day courses are available to chose from across the two weeks (30th June - 4th July & 7th - 11th July). This includes a couple of brand new courses and several more being run for the first time outside of the Summer Program.

As our organisation is an ACSPRI Member, bookings from staff and students are eligible for substantial discounts. The full non-member rate is $3230 per course, whereas our staff pay only $1650 prior to the Early Bird Deadline on 7th May 2014. Full time students pay only $1070 before the same deadline.

Program details, individual course descriptions, FAQs and enrolment instructions are all available at www.acspri.org.au/winterprogram2014. Queries can be forwarded to info@acspri.org.au or phoned through to Marty Lynch (ACSPRI Program Coordinator; Mon, Tue & Thu) on 03 8376 6496.

Several courses are nearly half full already and are likely to fill up well before the Early Bird Deadline, so be quick!
